Lincoln D'Amario ("Mr. Linc") has been a private keyboard instructor at NHS since 1990. His 30 years of teaching music and positive nurturing style has made him very popular among parents and students. Students are giving 30 minutes of keyboard lessons per week, a piano lesson book, supplemental materials and songs. The fee is $70 per month. The Spoken Word Club is an extra curricular club that is held on Fridays from 3:30pm - 4:30pm for grades 6th - 8th. The goal of the club is to allow the students to become familiar with writing performance poems and enhance their reading, spelling, vocabulary, and grammar skills. The club also allows the students the opportunity to gain confidence in their ability to work collaboratively within a group. Group Moderators are Mr. Victor Dawson and Ms. Angela Eggleston.
